Journey To Clear Skin Series Redux

Another try at clearing up hyperpigmentaton | petitelypackaged.com
Hi all,

So I could write all these excuses about how water damage to my Macbook and travel lead to me not continuing this series, but I won’t bore you with the details. All you need to know is I’m back with the Journey to Clear Skin Series. Now that I’ve mapped out a schedule and know how to manage myself more efficiently. So let’s get started.

Journey to Clear Skin Recap:

This was my skin roughly 6 months ago in July As you can see my skin was riddled with acne bumps and hyperpigmentation scarring. Over the last 6 months I have altered my regimen slightly, because I was listening to my skin. I noticed my T-Zone becoming more shiny throughout the day – especially on days I wore my glasses – so I stopped using the Bio Oil during the day. In addition, I added Vitamin C serum in rotation to use every other night. I’ve noticed it has helped soften my skin.

However I’ve also noticed that I have not been as disciplined as I should be. As the fall semester came to an end my water and green tea intake decreased while my soda, beer, and juice intake increased. Additionally the consumption of milk chocolate did not help my skin; indulging is nice, but it should be  partnered with discipline. My internal regimen had much more impact on the external one, so as I start the year with a detox I will be getting back into a healthy routine. With that said here are the photos for Week 1.

After the use of tea tree oil and drinking green tea the pimples feature here are now gone. If you notice they are in the same area my hair usually touches my face, so once again I must return to styles that keep the hair off my face. Next week I’ll share more photos and an updated skin care routine.

Until then,
Aitza B
